Each color comes individually or in a pack of 6. Order at least 1 – 3 strands of beads per person. So if you are having 20 people at your party, order at least 60 strands of beads, These are the 72” deluxe large strands.
How much food to I need for a Louisiana party? How many to order?? Each seasoning pack tells you exactly what meat etc to buy, and each pack serves about 4 people if you also have a side dish like a salad.
In the Party Hat Gift Basket you receive 3 packs. So that can feed 4 people, each of them getting 3 good servings of 3 different dishes. Or it can feed 6 ? 12 if they have small portions of each, plus a side salad etc.
We like big portions and we like to eat more than once at a party. Louisianans like lots of different things to eat, so don?t be afraid to make several small dishes. Or if you prefer, make a larger batch of one item, like the jambalaya, and then add lots of tasty side dishes. We love dat cher!!
If you can get fresh shrimp, you will LOVE the BBQ shrimp. You do NOT have to know how to cook!! The instructions are so easy and the seasonings are all inclusive. Just make sure you find some crusty French bread to go with it!!
If you can?t get fresh shrimp, call or email us and we?ll give you some tips that we found work really well.
We have included just a few of our Louisiana music favorites here. These are great for a party atmosphere, or just for listening fun, or great for road trips!!
We also call this therapeutic blues!! If you are in a bad mood, of just a funk, put on one of these babies and you WIILL change your mood just by listening. We have found that it is impossible to stay in a bad mood if you are listening to good music!
You want to make sure you have FUN upbeat music that is down home blues and funky New Orleans and foot tappin? good. If your party is 3 hours long, then we suggest 3 CDs. Just put the CDs on, set them to ?rotate? or ?shuffle? and go have fun with your guests.
If your party is 4 hours long, then we suggest 4 CD?s. etc.
Keep the CD jackets handy, ?cause your guests are going to LOVE the music and will be asking for the names of the songs and the names of the CDs.

The book contains a Cajun dictionary section which is funny enough for a party all by itself. In addition to favorite Cajun recipes, it also includes Cajun party games, Cajun stories and joke telling. Cajuns have a sense of humor, which is an essential ingredient for any Cajun party.

If you want good Cajun Comfort Food, here is the book. Caroline compiled her favorite recipes that she has feed her family for 50 years. She Says, "They aren't fancy dishes, They are just good".
I spoke to Mr Boudreaux about this new book . He said that this was a hard book to write, because traditional cajun recipes have no written measurements. The tradition of the recipe is just passed on. So this is a rare book and a special gift at this price. Mr Boudreaux is so excited about it. But he did mention that both he and Mrs. Boudreaux have put on 20 lbs since taking on the writing of this book!! So beware!! Comfort food is just that... comfort food! We love it!
